The Berceau walk is over 300 years old and takes in the avenue of ancient lime trees, while the North and South Terraces are are bordered by old beech trees. The Suprise Walk starts at Principal Lodge and heads up towards the old fort and passes the spanish chestnuts which are over 600 years old.

Parkland The valley floors are made up of mature open parkland, once used for keeping deer. Today they are laid out as a golf course, but as long as you stay off the course itself visitors are welcome AvenueThere are over 1000 champion trees on Taymouth Castle Estate alone. The Estate is currently working with Scottish Natural Herritage, Scottish Native Woodlands and the Perthshire Coutryside Trust to manage both the environment and the walks..
