| Conservation is a critical issue at Taymouth Castle. Perhaps the most important action in the past few years has been the restoration of the roof, especially that of the main wings. Historic Scotland have been extreemely helpful with this matter. The roof has been re-tiled and new lead flashings provided. This has cost over £120,000 and has been a valiant effort. | ||
